KICKIN VALENTINA:
new album „Raw Trax, B-Sides And Bootlegs“ out now
Bored with the rock scene dominated by overproduced fluff and bro-rock clichés, KICKIN VALENTINA set out to make the kind of rock’n’roll they wanted to hear – raw, loud, unapologetic, and 100% live. Today, that mission continues with the worldwide release of their fifth album, “Raw Trax, B-Sides, and Bootlegs”, out now via Mighty Music.
Available today on gatefold LP (red vinyl limited to 300 copies), CD, and digital formats, the album is a gritty collection of unreleased songs, demos, and live recordings from Germany’s Bang Your Head Festival. Once again produced by Andy Reilly (UFO, Bruce Dickinson, Cradle of Filth) at Muse Productions in Atlanta and mastered by Joel Wanasek, this is Kickin Valentina at their most unfiltered.
“We had a few songs left over from the “Star Spangled Fist Fight” recording sessions and knew we wanted to eventually release them,” says bassist Chris Taylor. “We thought it would be fun to package them together with a couple of live tracks and some demos of older songs. I always enjoy when bands release live recordings or demos, where you get to hear the raw, unfiltered versions – what the songs sounded like in the demo stage with alternate lyrics, guitars, etc. I hope our fans will enjoy this as well.”
“Raw Trax, B-Sides, and Bootlegs” is out now on gatefold LP (red vinyl limited to 300 copies), CD and digital, via Mighty Music. It can be ordered here.
Since forming in 2013, Kickin Valentina have carved out a reputation in the US and Europe for their high-octane, no-frills approach to rock. They released their debut EP that same year and later signed with Danish label Mighty Music, delivering four acclaimed studio albums: “Super Atomic”, “Imaginary Creatures”, “Revenge of Rock”, and “Star Spangled Fist Fight”, as well as the EP “Chaos in Copenhagen”. Their album “Imaginary Creatures” landed on the Billboard charts, and “Revenge of Rock” reached #6 on the Danish vinyl chart.
The band has toured relentlessly across the US and Europe, sharing stages with Buckcherry, Queensrÿche, Skid Row, and Sebastian Bach, and appearing at major festivals such as Bang Your Head, Call of the Wild, Nordic Noise, Monsters of Rock Cruise, and Rock Fest. They’ve also been featured in top-tier publications like Burrn!, Classic Rock, and Metal Hammer, and won GA Music Awards for Rock Band of the Year (2014) and Video of the Year (2015) for “Wrong Way.”
“Raw Trax, B-Sides, and Bootlegs” captures Kickin Valentina doing what they do best – bringing the noise with heart, grit, and no compromises. A spring tour in support of the album kicks off soon – see dates below.
