Midsummer Prog 2026
Das Midsummer Prog 2026 verspricht erneut, ein ganz besonderes Wochenende zu werden.
Am Samstag und Sonntag, dem 20. und 21. Juni, kehren wir mit einem facettenreichen Line-up zurück, das die vielen Klangfarben der progressiven Musik durchstreift: von der Erhabenheit klassischer Konzeptalben bis hin zu moderner Härte, cineastischen Klanglandschaften, der Wärme des Neo-Prog und abenteuerlichen neuen Stimmen.
Und dieses Mal beginnt das Fest schon früher. Am Freitag, dem 19. Juni, läuten wir das Event mit einem besonderen Pre-Party-Abend ein – kein zusätzlicher Festivaltag im eigentlichen Sinne, sondern eine großartige Konzertnacht, bei der wir gemeinsam das Glas erheben und mit euch – unserer geliebten Prog-Familie – auf ein wunderbares Midsummer-Prog-Wochenende anstoßen können.
Zur Pre-Party begrüßen wir:
* Das norwegische Prog-Talent Avkrvst
* Atmosphärischen Prog aus den Niederlanden von A Liquid Landscape
* Hypnosis Regressive, die den Spirit und das technische Feuer von Dream Theater auf die Bühne bringen
Und für das Festival haben wir uns erneut eine herausragende Auswahl an Künstlern gesichert:
* Geoff Tate (20/6), performing Operation: Mindcrime in its entirety
* Tesseract (21/6), one of the defining modern progressive metal bands
* Einar Solberg (20/6), the extraordinary voice and frontman of Leprous
* Daniel Cavanagh (20/6), main songwriter of Anathema, playing a special acoustic set
* Bruce Soord (21/6), the main creative force behind The Pineapple Thief
* Polish prog heroes Amarok (21/6) and Quidam (20/6)

Midsummer Prog 2026 is shaping up to be another very special weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday, June 20 & 21, we return with a richly varied line-up that moves through the many colours of progressive music: from classic concept-album grandeur to modern heaviness, cinematic soundscapes, neo-prog warmth, and adventurous new voices.
And this time, the celebration starts early. On Friday, June 19, we kick off with a special pre-party evening — not an extra festival day, but a great concert night where we can already raise a glass together and toast to a beautiful Midsummer Prog weekend with you, our beloved prog family.
For the pre-party, we welcome:
